4 Extract the lock case, fig. 4.
5 Determine two holes to be used by
threading the lock case onto the pin/
square shaft. Select from the screw holes
visible (1-4), fig. 5. One hole above the
lock case and one below.
6 Refit the lock case, fig. 6, without
securing it by its screws.
7 Position the outside fittings, fig. 7.
8 Hang the drilling template on the pin/
square shaft on the inside of the door,
7 or 8 mm, fig. 8a.
Check that the drilling template is hanging
vertically on the door. Do this by
comparing the guide lines on the
template with the edge of the door. Fix
with tape when the template is correctly
positioned, fig. 8b.
9 Remove the outside fittings and extract
the lock case, fig. 9.
10 Drill a hole through the door with at least
a 5.5 mm drill, fig.10, at the two points
you noted in step 5. Ensure that drilling is
made perpendicular to the door.
11a Turn the square shaft so that one of the
flat parts indicating ”UP” is at the top.
Hold it in this position when fitting the
outside fittings as in fig 11b.
11b Fit the outside fittings and refit the lock
case and secure it by its screws, fig. 11b.
