RAISE SUPPORT ARMS
Loosen the
upper knob.
Raise the
arms into the
up position.
Completely
tighten knob.
Edge of SpareTime
Tick mark on tongue
Now that your SpareTime is tightened check the fit. The edge of the SpareTime must overlap
the tick mark on the tongue, or be at least even with it. If it does not reach the tick mark use
a longer tongue (See Using different tongues in step 2 to change tongue). The mast of the
SpareTime should compress into the spare tire when tightening. The mast should always
have full contact with the spare tire.
IF THE TICK MARK IS VISIBLE YOU
MUST USE A LONGER TONGUE!

BE SURE TEETH ARE
FULLY ENGAGED!
Look between the support
arm and the body of the
SpareTime and verify that
the teeth are engaged.
If teeth are not engaged
loosen knob, readjust, and
tighten knob completely.
