While operating the portable node, the following functions may be set and operated on the portable node FTM-500D
transceiver.

Setting the speaker mute
The audio output to the speaker of the node station FTM-500D transceiver can be muted, it cannot be set in Direct
Operation.
Press the [
MUTE
] key on the microphone each time toggles the mute mode as follows.

: Disable mute.

: Mute both the received voice from the C4FM digital station and the voice from the node station on the
Internet.
