IMPORTANT:
The maximum distance between the transmitter battery and the charger must not
exceed three millimeters. For this reason it is best make sure that the lanyard with the
clip for the transmitter collar does not place between the transmitter and the charger
base.
The charge is indicated by the blink of the transmitter multicolor battery LED (See figure 1, LED
19). When LED turns blue, charging is complete.
If present, the battery charger LED change color during the recharge.
DANGER:
For your safety,
do not attempt to open the transmitter or remove the battery.
Such operations could cause damage to the battery and / or transmitter, cause injury
and / or make the transmitter unsafe. In the event of breakdowns or malfunctions,
contact an authorized dealer or the Yacht Controller.
DANGER:
If you notice an eccessive heating of the transmitter during use or while charging,
isolate the transmitter immediately and take it away to flammable material.
Contact an authorized dealer or directly the Yacht Controller.
4.2. Cleaning the transmitter
Remove any salt residues due to use or a possible fall in water, cleaning with a soft cloth with
fresh water. Do not use chemical solvents that could damage the paint or the rubber buttons.
Before recharging the battery, make sure that everything is perfectly dry, otherwise short circuits
could occur which would irreparably damage the transmitter or the battery charger.
