3.4. Acceleration profile settings (Optional)
ATTENTION:
Not all control head models support acceleration management. Ask your dealer if your
control head supports this feature.
If supported, Maximo allows to set the acceleration profile used for the engines command. To
add this function to the system, please, request it with surcharge from the Yacht Controller. The
standard profiles are the following.

IMPORTANT:
Instructions for selecting a predefined acceleration profile or for creating a customized
one are contained in the "Acceleration profile configuration" paragraph of the installer
manual.
The percentage of acceleration is meant relatively to the maximum rpm of the engines and is
reached, depending on the current profile, in the estimated time. The percentages are indicative
as they can change
depending on the model of engines installed. For example, selecting the
level 3 on the profile “Yacht 5 Step” we reach the 20% of the maximum rpm in 10 seconds
To enable the acceleration press the button “S” (see figure 5). To switch from the current level
to the next, push again the “S” button. From the last level, it goes back to level 0 (no
acceleration and multicolor LED switched-off).
The current acceleration level is indicated by the color of the multicolor LED
next to the “S”
button. Profile 1: green; profile 2: white; profile 3: yellow; profile 4: violet; profile 5: red.
