4.3. Problems and malfunctions
This paragraph describes a number of problems and malfunctions that may occur when using
the transmitter. Further information on problems not described in the following table can be
found in the installer manual. For further assistance or if not contemplated problems occurs or if
the malfunction frequently recurs please contact your installer or your Yacht Controller dealer.
Problem
Possible cause
Remedy
The transmitter does not turn
on.
No voltage arrives at the
transmitter.
Check the battery charge.
The transmitter battery LED is
red.
The battery is close to
exhaustion.
Recharge the battery as soon
as possible.
The transmitter reception
LEDs are red.
The receives is turned off.
Turn on the receiver.
During normal operation the
transmitter vibrates and the
transmission LEDs turn red.
The receiver is placed outside
the transmitter range.
- Move closer to the receiver
to reduce the distance
between the two devices.
- The range of action of the
transmitter depends on the
battery charge. Check the
charge.
The receiver does not turn on. The power switch was not
activated.
With the transmitter off,
activate the power switch and
wait for the operation
confirmation beep.
No voltage arrives at the
receiver.
Check that the receiver is
correctly powered. Check in
the order:
- The presence of battery
voltage.
- The presence of blown
fuses.
- The operation of the On/Off
button.
The receiver's beeper always
remains active.
The transmitter is turned off.
Turn on the transmitter by
holding the appropriate button
for at least three seconds.
None of the codes enabled in
the receiver correspond to that
of the transmitter.
Refer to the installation
manual for the programming
procedure or contact the
installer.
