Reset

An automatic function of the converter that detects
the voltage value of the power line. The converter
stops the electric pump when the voltage value is
below the permitted limit (184 V). The pump auto-
matically starts when the voltage exceeds the limit.

The alarm appears correctly moments before shut-
down.
Troubleshooting:
• The cross-section of the power cable for the con-
verter is too small. Replace the cable with one of
a suitable cross-section taking into account the
voltage drop at the supply point of the converter.
• The power cable for the converter is too long.
Replace the cable with one of a wider cross-sec-
tion taking into account the voltage drop at the
supply point of the converter.
7 System Setup and
Operation
7.1 Parameters to check upon startup
Check the following programming parameters upon
startup:

Entering the in-
correct value

If there is a level
sensor, enable
control at the
digital input to
protect against
dry running. The
pump restarts
automatically
when the mini-
mum operating
limit is reached.

SP SET PRESS The operating
pressure of the
pump needs to
be set.
If the value en-
tered is not cor-
rect in relation
to the needs of
the system, it
must be in-
creased or de-
creased accord-
ingly.
If more than 1
minute is re-
quired to fill the
system during
initial start-up
and the convert-
er triggers the
dry running
alarm, increase
the MP parame-
ter
( MIN.PRESS )
as long as the
pumps are run-
ning. (Make
sure that the
pumps are
primed). Lastly,
decrease the
MP parameter
( MIN.PRESS ) to
the minimum
permitted pres-
sure.
MP MIN.PRESS Set the mini-
mum pressure
below which the
pump is auto-
matically stop-
ped after the
delay time ( dL
parameter).
This function
prevents dry
running.
The
EL function
( EXT.LOW WA-
TER ) and the
MP function
( MIN.PRESS )
can both be en-
abled.

If the system is connected to an aque-
duct, check that the sum of the pressure
of the aqueduct and the maximum pres-
sure of the pump does not exceed the
value of the maximum permitted operat-
ing pressure (nominal pressure PN) of
