7. Remove the o-ring from the stator housing unit:
a) Put the stator housing unit on the work bench.
b) Remove the o-ring from the groove.
Use stiff wires.

1. Remove the small retaining ring.

2. Remove the shaft unit from the main bearing in the intermediate piece.
Use a press or the dismantling tool and make sure that the intermediate piece is evenly
supported during the removal of the shaft unit.
