To facilitate the mounting, use a screwdriver.
b) Pull the shaft-rotor unit against the spring.
5. Secure the alignment:
a) Take one of the screws for the seal housing cover.
b) Drop the screw into one of the assembly holes.
Do not install the screw.
c) Use a rubber mallet and tap evenly on the intermediate piece.

d) Remove the alignment screw.
4.6.6 Install the mechanical seal: Standard versions only
1. Lubricate the shaft end with a few drops of water.
2. Install the mechanical seal onto the shaft.

3. Install the rubber lip seal in the groove.
Make sure that the thin part of the seal faces the groove.
The rubber lip seal is part of the mechanical seal.
