3.4.1 Cleaning/replacing a filter
3.4.2 Cleaning a filter
• Electrically isolate the Xcell 350V EC BP
• Remove the Front Cover (A) from the Xcell 350V EC BP.
• Remove filters (B) from the Xcell 350V EC BP.
• Clean the filters with a vacuum cleaner or, if moist: rinse them clean in lukewarm water with a neutral
soap solution.
• Put the filters back into the Xcell 350V EC BP.
• Refit the Front Cover.
• Switch the power back on to the Xcell 350V EC BP.
• Press
if ‘Fil’, ‘ter’ is flashing on the display.
3.4.3 Replacing a filter
Replace the filters at least once a year.
• Electrically isolate the Xcell 350V EC BP
• Remove the Front Cover (A) from the Xcell 350V EC BP.
• Remove filters (B) from the Xcell 350V EC BP.
• Remove the two clamps used to fasten the filter material on the filter holders. The filter material can
now be removed from the holder.
• The new filter material can now be placed on the holder. Remount the two clamps.
• Put the filters back into the Xcell 350V EC BP.
• Refit the Front Cover.
• Switch the power back on to the Xcell 350V EC BP.
• Press
if ‘Fil’, ‘ter’ is flashing on the display.
Take care that the material is not damaged by the edges of the filter holder.
When using the system for the first time, we recommend cleaning all filters and valves as the system
may become clogged with dust during construction.
