Do not use aggressive or solvent detergents for cleaning.
• For the left-hand version, remove the bypass duct
• Remove the display by loosening the 2 screws, then disconnect the display connector from the PCB.
• Disconnect the connectors and the earth lead on the PCB and remove completely the 3 cables with
the 2 grommets
• Remove the complete volute casing by pressing the click fasteners (L).
• Remove the inflow cone by pressing the click fasteners surrounding the volute casing. The fan can
now be cleaned.
• Use a soft brush to clean the fan impellers.
• Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust.
Take care not to damage the fan impellers.
Take care not to damage the temperature sensors.
Reassemble all these components in reverse order and conduct a self-test according to menu P81.
Make sure the drip tray (F) under the exchanger is mounted correctly.
The screws in the Xcell 350V EC BP should be tightened to a maximum of 1.5Nm. This roughly
corresponds to the speed 2 of an average battery-powered drill.
