8. Setups
System settings procedure
This section describes the basic procedure for changing system
settings. To make or change the system settings, it is necessary
to be in System Administration mode.
1.
Enter the System Administration Mode by pressing the
Log
In/Out
button.
2.
Using the numeric keypad, enter the System Administrator
UserID and password. (You may also select
Keyboard
to
display a keypad screen and enter the user ID and password
from there.)
NOTE: If you are using the authentication feature, a password
may be required.
KEY POINT:
It is recommended that you change the system
administrator UserID and password immediately after installing
the machine. For information about the setting, refer to
System Administrator Settings on page 8-174
.
