Operating Systems
Perform these steps to enter the Subnet Mask using telnet
from a Windows or Unix OS. Some DocuPrint network
printers do not support telnet. For these printers, enter
the Subnet Mask from the Control Panel as described in
the previous section.

Open a telnet session.
Windows: Open a MS-DOS window type
telnet
x.x.x.x[Enter]
, where
x.x.x.x
is the IP address
Unix: Type
telnet hostname
in a shell

and then
yes[Enter]
to enter monitor mode.

Select the Network Protocols Menu,
N[Enter]
.

Select the TCP/IP Options Menu,
T[Enter]
.

Select the Engine Options Menu,
E[Enter]
.

y[Enter].

Select Subnet mask,
m[Enter]
.

Enter the new Subnet Mask,
[Enter].

Select
X [Enter]
to exit this menu or end the telnet
session.
Telnet only works if the device is on the same subnet as the
host (i.e. computer or workstation).
