IPSec
Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) is a group of protocols used to secure Internet Protocol (IP)
communications. The IPSec feature authenticates and encrypts each IP data packet.
If you select IPSec, all printer traffic uses IPSec protocols, including:

Internet Services, click
Properties
Security
.

Click
IPSec
.
Note:
If prompted to enter a user name and password, for information about logging in as an
administrator, refer to
Internet Services Administrator Account
.
3.
To enable the protocol, for Protocol, select
Enabled
.
Note:
To enable IPSec, enable SSL and connect to device using HTTPS.
4.
To remove IPSec connections, click
Flush All IPSec Connections
.
5.
For
Shared Secret
, enter the shared key value.
6.
For
Verify Shared Secret
, re-enter the shared key value.
7.
To save the new shared key, select S
elect to save new Shared Secret
.
8.
Click
Apply
.
