4.6.7.1 Timer Setting menu
Allows you to set the head cleaning interval of this printer for Sleep Mode. When more than the set time
has passed, the print head is cleaned automatically.
Access this menu by pressing the [Enter] key while "Set Timer" is displayed.
• During Sleep Mode, even if the set amount of time has passed, print-head cleaning is
not performed under the following circumstances.
• The front cover is open.
• The media loading lever was switched to the back side.
• The waste fluid tank is full.
• The ink cartridge is empty.
• The ink cartridge has been removed.
• An object other than an appropriate ink cartridge is inserted in the cartridge slot,
etc.
When the printer returns to "Ready to Print" mode, head cleaning is restarted, and
Sleep Mode continues.
5.3 Error messages
• If one of the above conditions occurs during head cleaning, cleaning is stopped.
