User media menu
Allows you to set up the configuration of various settings for the media being used. Configurations can
be set for thirty different media in the User media menu.
•
If media other than a recommended one is used, the following problems may occur.
•
Media detection error
•
Slant, snag and wrinkle of media
•
Media jams
•
Favorable print quality cannot be obtained due to blots, blurs or dirt.
•
End detection of roll media cannot be performed.
The problems caused by the use of unrecommended media will not be covered by the
warranty and repair expenses will be paid by the customer. For details, contact your
local XEROX dealer.

Type 1 to Type 30
Print Mode
Sets up the print mode according to the usage of print
data or print speed.
•
Pressing the [Enter] key shifts to the sub menu.
PF Adjust
Allows configuration of various Media feed
compensation settings.
•
Pressing the [>] key: shifts to the sub menu.
Pre-Heater
Sets up the Pre-Heater temperature.
•
Pressing the [Enter] key shifts to the sub menu.
Platen Heater
Sets up the Platen Heater temperature.
•
Pressing the [Enter] key shifts to the sub menu.
After Heater
Sets up the After Heater temperature.
•
Pressing the [Enter] key shifts to the sub menu.
StandbyHeating
Sets up the length of time to preheat the heater while the
printer is in standby mode.
•
Pressing the [Enter] key shifts to the sub menu.
Vacuum Fan
Sets up the vacuum fan operation.
•
Pressing the [Enter] key shifts to the sub menu.
