How To Do Basic System Check For No Power
1.
The Circuit Breaker is flipped to the on position?
2.
The Speed Adjustment knob is rotated to fast speed?
3.
The Forward / Reverse switch has been tried in both positions with
the same results?
4.
The Left Hand Brake lever is retracting (when not applied) to the
full forward position, so that the brakes motor kill function is not
being engaged?
5.
The Charger appears to be operating correctly and the Batteries are
fully charging?
6.
The other electrical such as lights are working OK?
7.
Lift the rear wheels off the ground and support the scooter so the
rear wheels DO NOT touch the ground - will the motor/wheels spin
with normal operation of the Throttle?
Troubleshooting Guide
Troubleshooting: Brake Lights
On both brake handles on the handlebars have a cable adjustment screws.
Screw these all the way into the handle. If you squeeze one of the handles
and look down in that gap you will see a little push button and also see a
little wire coming out middle of handle. This is set up in a way in which if
you touch the brakes it will cut power to motor. So these 2 wires are feed
back to the controller and the controller watches this signal. When it sees one
of the brakes on it kills the motor power and sends power to the tail lights to
turn on. This is a common thing for electric scooters and most customers
