Installation instructions for the pH 170
A sensor can be connected to the measuring transmitter via the sensor input
socket or the terminal strip.
Set the connection location with the dip switch on the circuit board of the pH 170:

Dip switch
ON
Unused wires must not jut into the housing. Otherwise,
malfunctions can occur. This especially applies to the ground wire
of the mains cable. Cut off unused wires in the housing as close to
the armored thread joint as possible.
