Temperature compensation
The
Pt
submenu enables compensation of the temperature measuring sensor
tolerances in the test probe (shifting of the zero point by a maximum of 0.5 °C) and
appears only if, in the configuration of
, the automatic temperature
compensation was set.
Place the measuring probe in a vessel containing at least 2 liters of water
due to its thermal capacity.
Leave the measuring probe and reference thermometer in the water for at
least 15 minutes, or with temperature differences between the water and
test probe > 10 °C for at least 1 hour, and stir the water occasionally until
the comparison can be made.

Use ENTER to call up the
Pt
submenu:

Use the UP / DOWN keys to set the value
(

0,5 °C). At the same time, the corrected
measured value (upper line) and the
correction value (lower line) are displayed.

Press the ENTER key to confirm the input.

Press the M key to return to the measuring
mode.
