Outer Pulley and Blade Shaft
1. Unscrew the outer pulley mounting nut (18), and remove the
outer pulley (21) and feather key (26).
2. Unscrew the pulley holder mounting screws (22), and separate
the left pulley holder (24) from the mower deck.
3. Remove the external snap ring (32) on the left blade shaft (27).
4. Remove the blade boss (31) and oil seal (30).
5. Remove the internal snap ring (29) and tap out the left blade shaft
(27) with ball bearings (25), (28), taking care not to damage the
grease nipple (17).
6. Remove the oil seal (23).
7. Remove the ball bearings (25), (28) from the blade shaft (27).
8. Remove the right pulley holder (8) and blade shaft (11) as above.
NOTE
■
• The collar (33) adapts to RC60-24BR only.
(When reassembling)
• Replace the oil seals (30), (23), (14), (6) with new ones.
