Starting The Engine
A separate manual is available for the specific engine for your mill. See the appropriate
manual supplied with your specific engine configuration for starting and operating instruc-
tions.
DANGER!
Ensure that all guards and covers are in place and secured
before operating or towing the sawmill. Failure to follow this will result
in death or serious injury.
DANGER!
Always be sure the blade is disengaged and all persons are
out of the path of the blade before starting the engine or motor. Failure
to follow this will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING!
Always wear eye, ear, respiration (if warranted), and foot
protection when operating the sawmill. Failure to follow this could
result in death or serious injury.
WARNING!
Be sure the power feed switch is in the neutral position
before turning the key switch to the on (1) or accessory (3) position.
Failure to follow this could result in death or serious injury.

Board Return
DANGER!
Keep all persons out of the path of returning boards. Failure
to follow this will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING!
The automatic board return is intended to assist a second
operator in removing boards quickly. Do not use the board return when
operating the sawmill alone. Failure to follow this could result in death
or serious injury.
WARNING!
Do not use the board return table, designed and intended
to assist in the removal of boards only, as a platform to stand on. Fail-
ure to follow this could result in death or serious injury.
IMPORTANT!
Use of the board return not recommended with material
shorter than 8 foot.
IMPORTANT!
A second person is required to remove the board as it is
returned. DO NOT attempt to use the board return feature when saw-
ing alone.
