This section describes the deeper sequencing features of Metron.
5.1
BURST MODE / GATE MODE
Burst and Gate Modes allow the user to quickly enter predefined microstep
data. Press and hold [BURST] or [GATE] to enter the corresponding mode. Step
data entered in these modes are equivalent to microstep data and vice versa.
The STEP DISPLAY shows the displayed step type. Turning ENCODER 1 changes
the displayed step type.
NOTE: This display format also applies to Random Mode.

Blinking steps have data that
matches the STEP DISPLAY
Steps that are bright but not blinking
have step data beyond a standard trigger.
This may be burst data, gate data, or
microtiming data
The MATRIX shows steps with no
burst or gate setting as dimly lit
15% gate displayed on
screen and MATRIX
