4.10 RECORD
Quickly record manual triggers and gates to a track by holding or pressing
[RECORD] then tapping the corresponding [TRACK SELECT] button.

Recording silence will behave differently based on
whether [RECORD] is held or not. See above.
4.10.1 Record Manual Gate
Hold or press [RECORD], then press the corresponding [TRACK SELECT]. Manual
gate recording is quantized to the 16th note on the standard grid.
4.10.2 Record Silence
Record silence to all tracks by pressing [CLEAR] while holding [RECORD].
If RECORD is latched, the user must also press the [VARIATION] or [TRACK
SELECT] that corresponds to the data they would like to record silence to.
