electrolyte, so as to generate a large amount of gas, and the resin adhesive in the
electrode sheet also deteriorates, thereby causing the entire battery to gradually
deteriorate, even to lose efficacy in a short period of time.
Under normal circumstances, charging temperature shall be at 0 °C ~ 45 °C. And
the discharge temperature is generally -20 °C ~ +40 °C; but in some special
circumstances, low temperature battery and high temperature-resistant battery can
also be used. The battery pack is normally discharged before being shipped from the
factory, so as to prevent short circuit due to shock or other reasons during
transportation. Usually the new battery is not charged or only about 20% of the
battery capacity. A new battery or a battery that has not been used for a long period of
time may not be fully activated due to the active substance. Before use, it usually
takes two to three cycles of micro current (0.1C) to charge and discharge, so as to
achieve the nominal capacity. Batteries that are not used for a long period of time
should be stored with sufficient power. Generally, they shall be stored with 50% of the
power. It is recommended that the battery be recharged once every three months, so as
to return to saturation capacity.
It is not allowed to randomly replace the components or structures that affect the
explosion-proof performance, so as to maintain the explosion-proof capability.
Charging must be carried out in a safe place with a special charger equipped with
this machine. It is strictly prohibited to disassemble, recharge, and replace the battery
in a dangerous place.
9.6 Storage
The device is supposed to be stored in a cool and dry place. If you will not use
the device for a long period of time, remove the lithium battery from the device and
store it in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place where the temperature does not exceed
45°C. Do not store large numbers of batteries densely when the battery is fully or
half-fully charged. Do not expose the battery to acid gas or place it anywhere near fire
source.
