DDNS (Dynamic DNS) maps Internet Domain Names to an IP through services like
Wirepathdns.com. When configured, the CameraNVR is available remotely via a simple easy
to remember name such as JonesIPNVR.Wirepathdns.com
D. Configuring DDNS is not required for remote access, but avoids having to pay for and
remember a static IP address from the ISP.
