1.2 Safety precautions
This boiler and related accessories are state of the art and meet all applicable safety regulations. This boiler
and all accessories operate using 230 V AC electrical current. Improper installation or repair can result in a life-
threatening electric shock. Installation may only be performed by appropriately qualified technicians.
Caution symbols
Please take careful note of the following symbols in this operation manual and on the boiler.
Please note: risk of crushing from rotating auger.
If you have to touch these parts, always de-energise the boiler.
Hot surface warning: risk of burns!

1.3 Sources of danger
1.3.1 Power failure
(or if the blower is not running)
Attention!
Do not open the combustion chamber door, as doing so will increase the risk of blowback. The
control unit initiates a self-test following a power failure during combustion, and then operation
continues automatically.
1.3.2 Burner pot
Attention!
Never add pellets to the burner pot by hand. Excessive pellets will result in poor combustion and
ignition. Too much volatile gas in the combustion chamber may result in an explosion.
