2.7 Heating system operation - pellet boiler
The boiler2 should
not
be turned off with the On/Off switch
on the InfoWIN
PLUS
, nor should it be disconnected
from the power supply via the power plug. The heating system should be shut down by turning it off at the control
system (see section 2.7.1).
Attention!
The anti-freeze function is not active when the boiler is shut off (ON/OFF button
) .
Information!
The block protection for cleaning the heating surfaces and for the ash conveyor (turned on briefly
every day at 12:00) is not active when the boiler is turned off (ON/OFF button
).
2.7.1 MESplus system control
Information!
For information regarding the MESplus and related user modules, please see their respective
operating manuals.
Turning on - MESplus system control - automatic operation:
1. Press the ON/OFF button
on the InfoWIN
PLUS
panel to turn on the lighting and display. The signal lamp
will turn green and a self-test will be performed at this time. After a successful self-test (and if a setpoint is
communicated by the external system control), the boiler automatically starts operation.
2. Set the
operating mode switch
(es) on the MESplus control module(s) to “
Automatic operation
”
. The
system is operated (e.g., setting temperatures and operating times) using the user module (installed in the
living area) – for more details, please refer to the instructions.
Turning off heating system:
Set the operating mode to “Standby”
using the user module (installed in the living area).
Summer mode, hot water only:
Set the operating mode to „DHW operation“
using the user module (installed in the living area).
Emergency operation:
In the event of a system control failure, select the “Manual operation” mode using the MES control module
and InfoWIN
PLUS
unit
(see Manual operation InfoWIN
PLUS
) to activate emergency operation and maintain
heat and hot water.
