8.0. Maintenance
8.5. Cleaning
The main point to be cleaned is
the air intake grid.
When using compressed air or
high-pressure cleaners be careful
that no water, dirt or other
impurities can penetrate the gear
or the bearing.
8.6. Hydraulic installation
ATTENTION!
Leaking fluid under pressure
can penetrate the skin
causing serious injury.
Check the hydraulic lines
in regular intervals for
damages and aging and
exchange them if
necessary.
Avoid the hazard by
relieving pressure before
disconnecting hydraulic or
other lines.
Tighten all connections
before applying pressure.
Search for leaks with a
piece of cardboard.
Protect hands and body
from high pressure fluids.
If an accident occurs, see
a doctor immediately. Any
fluid absorbed into the
skin must be surgically
removed within a few hours
or gangrene may result.
Doctors unfamiliar with
this type of injury should
reference a knowledgeable
medical source.
