7.7. How to check and refill the hydraulic oil
The oil filler neck and the red screw including the oil dipstick are located on the rear side of the
machine, adjacent to the switch cabinet, within the base frame.
•
Check the oil level of the hydraulic unit
before every start-up of the control unit in
order to avoid damages.
•
Detach the red cap (with integrated oil dipstick)
from the hydraulic tank.
•
Wipe the oil dipstick by a lint-free cloth and put it
back again.
•
Pull the oil dipstick out again and check the oil
level by means of the two markings (the oil level
should be between these two markings).
•
In case the oil level is below the lower marking,
you must refill hydraulic oil of the quality HLPD
32; detach the black cap for this purpose.
•
The oil level must not be above the upper marking since otherwise there is the danger of
overflowing in certain circumstances.
•
Tighten both caps again after having completed the procedure.
7.8. Used hydraulic oil
Only use
HLPD 32
.

reducing additives, high carrying capacity and particularly water
repelling.

properly
.
7.9. Planer
•
Check the stress of the drive chain in the planer
and grease it regularly.
•
Unscrew the cap from the planer housing on the
opposite side of planer motor.
•
detach chain tightener and shift in slotted hole
until chain is tensioned (sturdy).
•
Afterwards screw cap again.
•
Check the blades of the planer for sharpness,
turn them if necessary (grinded on both sides,
max. thickness of the shavings: 0,2 mm).
