Using
Inserting/replacing the Batteries
1. At the rear side of the cover you will find the
battery
compartment. Open the
battery
compartment and remove the battery block.
2. Isert three new button cells or the type LR44,
observing correct polarity. Insert the button
cells in the sleeve. Make sure the plus plode of
the batteries is facing upwards. Close the
battery compartment.
3. For switching on the crosscut laser, press the
red button. For switching off the crosscut laser,
depress the red button again.
4. The adjustment range for the laser beam
is from 0 to 200 cm. Thus you can adjust
the crosscut laser to the desired length in
order to cut all wood logs to the same
length.
Replace the batteries with three new
batteries of the same type when the laser
beam gets weaker or if it does not shine
at all.
Cleaning and Storing
Only use a dry or lightly moistened cloth to clean the cover of chain saw with
the built-in crosscut laser. Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives for
cleaning.
Store the saw chain with the mounted crosscut laser indoors in a dry place
that is protected from dust, dirt and extreme temperatures. Always store the
chain saw out of reach of children.
