Operation
The depth of the target unit is included in measuring from the front of the unit
as well as from the rear end of the unit.
Please make sure there is a direct line of sight between the unit and the
target. Avoid using the unit in high winds or in excessively loud
environments. Under such conditions the accuracy of the unit can not be
guaranteed.
Temperature Display
To achieve correct results after moving the unit from a warm to a cold room or
vice versa, please wait for a few minutes until the unit has reached
environmental temperature.
The internal temperature if the unit can easily be displayed. Take a
measurement to activate the unit. Press and hold
and then press
. The
internal temperature of the unit is displayed in °C (Celsius) if the unit is set to
“m” or in °F (Fahrenheit) if the unit is set to ft:in, ft.ft, or y.y (see “Function of
the Buttons”).
To return to the measuring mode, press
once or directly take a
measurement with button 10 or 11 (

Measured distance is from the rear end of the unit.
Measured distance is from the front end of the unit.
