Functions of the Buttons
Notice
The ultrasonic waves emitted by the unit diverge with increasing distance.
Please make sure the way between the unit and its target is free from
obstructions.
Items as for instance curtains or blinds absorb sound waves and can falsify
the result.
If you move the unit from a warm area to a cold area or vice versa, allow the
units to reach room temperature before use.
Changing the Units of Measurement in the Display
The units of measurement can be changed with the
button; press and hold
the button to flip through the
different units. The distance
meter must be activated by
taking a value before changing
the units (also see “Functions
of the Buttons”). The display
jumps from “m” to “ft:in” etc.
When the desired units appear, release the
button.
