Set-Up and Operation
If the
- symbol (battery symbol) appears in the display, replace the
battery.
If the unit is not used for more than 7 minutes, it automatically turns off
to save battery power.

Calibration of the Unit
The unit is suitable for use indoors and outdoors, it is equipped with an
automatic temperature compensation for the temperature range between 0 -
38 °C.
The unit has been calibrated for 760 mmHg pressure (1 Bar) and 50 %
humidity. If you want to use the unit under different conditions, measuring
errors may occur. To avoid such errors, calibrate the unit.
Do as follows:
Set the Unit to the position (1).
Set a distance of exactly 3m to a straight wall with a rule or measuring tape.
Press and hold the buttons
and
at the same time and
additionally press
. The unit
turns on and executes the
measurement. If the unit has
calibrated correctly, 3.00 m
appears in the display.
