Section 7
Bearing, Conveyor
REPLACEMENT
Shut off power at main breaker:
1. Remove conveyor from oven and place on a flat work
surface.
2. Remove connecting links from conveyor belting. See
Section 4
.
3. Remove conveyor belting from conveyor. Remove drive
sprocket from drive shaft.
4. Move drive shaft or idle shaft toward end of conveyor,
and shaft with bearings will now slip out of holding
bracket.
5. Replace bearing and reassemble in reverse order.
Control Transformer
REPLACEMENT
Shut off power at main breaker:
1. Remove wires from primary side, note color and
location.
2. Remove wires from secondary side, note color and
location.
3. Remove two (2) mounting screws and remove
transformer.
4. Reassemble in reverse order and check system
operation.
Oven Control
REPLACEMENT
Shut off power at main breaker:
1. Remove control box cover and front panel.
2. Remove all wiring connections and mark for
reassembly.
3. Remove oven control by pulling control from mounting
pins. Remove control from oven.
4. Before installing new control, set voltage jumper
(located at the bottom center of the oven control) to
the proper (120/240V) position. Install the four (4) push
button extensions (included with the oven control) by
pushing the extensions onto the four (4) set buttons on
control.
5. Reassemble in reverse order
6. Set the oven control for the proper operating mode.
The 1600 series ovens have dual burner systems. The
oven control must be set to the “Dual oven mode”.
Set control as follows: With the oven power switch
off, depress the circled buttons {1}/“TEMP” and
{4}/“MINUS” and turn the power switch on. Control will
indicate “Low Pro”. Release the buttons, the control will
indicate “Temp to store”. Press the {1}/“TEMP” button.
The control is now set for dual burner operation.
7. The oven control now needs to be programmed with
the calibration offset and customer’s temperature
and conveyor speed settings. See CONTROLLER
PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS in Section 7 for details..
