Washing stages and program steps
A washing cycle consists of up to six different washing stages. Each
washing stage consists of up to 8 time adjustable steps
Fixed and settable relay functions:
In the milking plant control system nine functions are assigned to fixed
relays (see previous page).
Further functions are possible. A maximum of three of these can be
assigned to the three 'settable' relays via parameter settings.
Determination of washing stages and detergents used:
For each milking plant there is a free choice of washing stage sequence.
The frequency of the various washing stages per cleaning cycle can be
adjusted. Parameter [E31 to E36].
It is generally possible to decide whether a cleaning cycle should use
both alkaline and acidic detergents, or only one of them. If only one
detergent is to be used [E35=0], the number of alkaline cleaning cycles
which should pass before an acidic wash takes place can be set via
parameter [E40].
STOP phase
After pre-rinse 1 or alternatively 2, the cleaning cycle can be interrupted
for an adjustable period of time. The idea is that milk residues are rinsed
out of the system immediately, but the main cleaning process takes
place just before the next milking. The STOP phase is set via parame-
ters [E38 and E39].
Cleaning resumes:
- after the pre-set period of time,
- if the cleaning button is pressed for a longer time during the
STOP phase,
- if the digital input 'Dig. 3' is operated externally.
