Technical Data
Except where limit values are specified, the technical data below refer to the
usual heater tolerances of
10% at an ambient temperature of +20°C and
at the nominal voltage.
13.1. Electrical Components
Control unit, the lamp in the digital timer and the glow plug are designed for
either 12 V or 24 V.
Digital timer (without lamp), blow out temperature sensor, external
temperature sensor, motor, fuel pump and exhaust temperature sensor are
designed for both operating voltages.
13.2. Fuel for Air Top Evo 40 B (petrol)
Fuel for Air Top Evo 55 B (petrol)
The fuel specified by the manufacturer in accordance with DIN EN 228 must
be used.
13.3. Fuel for Air Top Evo 40 D (diesel)
Fuel for Air Top Evo 55 D (diesel)
The diesel fuel according to DIN EN 590 specified by the vehicle
manufacturer is suitable.
We know of no negative influences due to additives.
If you change to low-temperature fuel, the heater must be operated for
approx. 15 minutes so that the fuel system is filled with the new fuel.
Devices Air Top Evo 40 D and Air Top Evo 55 D are also approved for
operation with biodiesel (FAME) which complies with DIN EN 14214.
