The opening of the exhaust line must be installed so as to prevent clog-
ging due to dirt.

Notes on the exhaust pipe
The exhaust pipe must be secured to the heater with an appropriate clamp
for this pipe.
To prevent falling below the dew point, suitable insulation can be fitted.
Characteristics of the exhaust pipe
Exhaust silencer
The heater may also be operated without an exhaust silencer.
Install the exhaust silencer as close as possible to the heater.
During installation, pay attention to the correct installation position (see
Fig. 23 and Fig. 24).
The flow direction is arbitrary.

Preventing contamination
NOTE:
The exhaust pipe must not be routed through the passenger
compartment.
NOTE:
Exhaust gas must be prevented from entering the combustion
air.
NOTE:
The maximum total combined length of the combustion air
intake pipe and the exhaust pipe must not exceed:
With exhaust silencer: 2.0 m
Without exhaust silencer: 5.0 m
