TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Troubleshooting Guide
Function Probable cause Remedy
Nothing moves Electrical system failure
Hydraulic system failure
- Check switches are functioning
- Check fuses
- Check wires and connections
- Check hydraulic fluid level
- Check jump hoses are connected
correctly
- Check machine valve lever in
neutral
Blade Lift Cylinder Creeping To determine whether cylinder is
leaking, cap lines coming off the
cylinder. If the cylinder still creeps,
contact Weldco-Beales Mfg. for
further information.
Snow Wing Float Control Valve Installation
O-Ring damage
If the float on the snow wing is not
operating properly, check the control
valve to determine if the installation
has been done correctly. O-rings
should be checked for damage
incurred during installation.
Over-Centering of
Moldboard If the snow wing moldboard goes
over centre in the raised or transport
position, and the cylinder is not
capable of retracting the moldboard,
one should seek assistance in
returning the moldboard to its proper
stowed position. Do this in a clear,
open area and in a safe manner.
Check to determine if the pushpole
stops have been correctly installed.
Adjust if necessary.
Wing chatters when raising
or lowering. Trims on controller need
adjusting. See Scorpion instructions for details.
