INTRODUCTION

1.1 ProtoNode Gateway

ProtoNode is an external, high performance

Building Automation multi-protocol gateway

that is preconfigured to Auto-Discover any AERCO products (hereafter called a

“device”)

connected to the ProtoNode and automatically configure them for BACnet®

MS/TP, BACnet/IP,

Metasys®

N2 by JCI, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, or LonWorks®

It is not necessary to download any configuration files to support the required applications. The
ProtoNode is pre-loaded with tested Profiles/Configurations for the supported devices.
