Introduction

This manual is about a control valve to be used on Backwashable  Filters. The manual is designed to aid water
treatment equipment manufacturers in the selection of the various control valve options. Information in this manual is
different than what is needed for installation and servicing of a particular water treatment system. This manual is not
intended to be used as a manual for a complete filter. Certain parts of the manual will serve as aids to manufacturers
in the writing and layout of the manuals for installers and service personnel.
