CAUTION: To prevent possible injury while
working in the arm capture zones or the saw bar
opening, follow safety precautions. Lower the
harvester head to the ground and stop the
engine.
NOTE: Check feed wheels and upper delimb and their
bolts and cap screws after every 200–250 hours or
monthly only if used for softwood application.

1. Complete weekly checks.
2. Check the main control valve mounting bolts (1).
Torque bolts to specification.
3. Check the controller assembly bolts (2). Torque the
bolts to specification.
4. Check the controller mounting plate bolts (3).
Torque the bolts to specification.
5. Check the condition of the tilt bracket pins and
bushes.
6. Check the feed wheel arm, upper delimb, and pivot
pin and related bolts and cap screws after every
200–250 hours or monthly only if used for softwood
applications. Refer to
Maintenance: Every 50 Hours
or Weekly for checking and torque of bolts and cap
screws.
