1. Complete daily checks.
2. Inspect the frame, arms, and knives for cracks or
excessive wear. Replace components and sharpen
knives as required.
3. Inspect and grease the measuring wheel bearings
and SC100 main saw bearings.
4. Check the feed arm pin (1) and the feed arm pin-
collar retaining cap screws (2) (if in hardwood
applications).
5. Check the condition of the feed wheel. (See the
Feed Wheel section.)
6. Check the feed wheel nuts (3). (See the
Feed
Wheel section.)
7. Check the feed motor mount bolts (4); torque them
to specification.
8. Grease the length measuring roller bearings. (See
the
Fluids and Lubricants.)
9. Check the center feed motor mount cap screws (5).
Torque the cap screws to specification.
10. Check measuring wheel (6) and arm cap mount cap
screws (7). Torque the cap screws to specification.

11. Check the upper delimb arms. Torque the cap
screws and bolts to specifications.
12. Check the torque on front knife nut (8) and front
knife guide bolt (9) to specifications.
