8.4.8 Start Parameters
The start parameters in subsection
➄
(see also figure 10) help you to configure the operation mode; the
mode will be carried out when the WLVCM receives a respective start signal – the so-called trigger – at
the clamps („Start -“ and „Start +“), (see also chapter 6.2.1.6). The following configuration options are
available for the parameters “Trigger“ and “Operating Mode“:
Trigger
Specification
Single pulse
The preset operating mode will be carried out/stopped as soon as a positive
signal change (LOW
HIGH) is noticed at the clamps („Start -“ and „Start +“).
Permanent signal The preset operating mode will be carried out as long as a positive signal level
HIGH is applied to the clamps („Start -“ and „Start +“).
Operating Mode Specification
Single shot
Only available for trigger-type “single pulse“!
if a single pulse is detected at
the clamps („Start -“ and „Start +“), a single shot with the configured opening
time will be carried out.
Continuity shot
Only available for trigger-type “permanent signal“!
As long as a HIGH
signal level is applied to the clamps („Start -“ and „Start +“), a continuity shot
will be carried out, and the connected spray, pulse or dosing valve is
opened/activated. The continuity shot will end and the valve will
close/deactivate as soon as the signal level changes from HIGH
LOW.
Series shot
Trigger-type “single pulse“:
When a single pulse is applied to the clamps
(„Start -“ and „Start +“), a single shot with the configured parameters from the
selected parameter set will be performed.
Trigger-type “permanent signal“:
As long as a HIGH signal level is applied
to the clamps („Start -“ and „Start +“), the series shot will be carried out
repeatedly with the configured parameters from the selected parameter set.
Sequence shot
Trigger-type “single pulse“:
When a single pulse is applied to the clamps
(„Start -“ and „Start +“), a one-time sequence shot will be performed with the
configured parameters from the selected parameter set.
Trigger-type “permanent signal“:
As long as a HIGH signal level is applied
to the clamps („Start -“ and „Start +“), the sequence shot will be carried out
repeatedly with the configured parameters from the selected parameter set.
8.4.9 Administration of Parameter Sets
All settings which you have made in subsections
➀
,
➁
,
➂
,
➃
and
➄
(see also figure 10) are valid within
one single parameter set. You can set up and save a total of four individual parameter sets in the
WLVCM; you can randomly select the individual parameters for the sets. In subsection
➅
(see also
figure 10) you will find some tools for administering the parameter sets.
Go to “Parameter set no.“ in order to select one of the four parameter sets. The fields in the configuration
parameters will be accordingly updated, depending on which set of parameters has been selected. Also,
there are additional functions for “copying”, “inserting” and “deleting” parameter sets.
Do the following for copying a set of parameters:
1. Select the program which you want to copy
2. Click on the button “Parameter set X copy“ for copying the current set of parameters into a
cache/buffer memory.
3. Select a set of parameters where you want to insert the copied parameters and click on the button
„Parameter set X insert“
CAUTION
When you insert parameter sets, all parameters of the previous parameter set will
be overwritten!
