Sensitivity of the Stereo External In . The different Input Gain settings attenuate or amplify the input
signal as follows:

It is not recommended to connect a microphone or guitar directly to the Q. Low signal level
instruments should be amplified by a special pre-amplifier before they are routed into the Q’s
External In.

This parameter allows you to send an external audio signal directly into the Q’s effect section without
the need of a note trigger.
• No external audio signal will be routed through the Q with Off being selected
• Aux will route the external audio signal to the internal audio bus. So you can use this
signal to feed the vocoder or the 5FX. For more information refer to the chapter "Effects" on
page 104 and 110.
• Inst.1 FX…Inst.4 FX will route an external signal into the effect sections of instruments
1…4 and to the corresponding audio output.
• Main Out will route an external signal directly to the Q’s Main Out or the Digital Out.
• Sub1 out will route an external signal directly to the Q’s Sub Out 1.
• Sub2 out will route an external signal directly to the Q’s Sub Out 2.
