WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750
Function Description

750-375 PROFINET IO advanced Fieldbus Coupler
Manual
Version 1.1.0
7.7.2.4
I&M Data Sets
For non-option modules which bear its own I&M data and are represented by
physical of virtual option modules, I&M data of the station proxy is delivered.
7.7.2.5
Diagnostics
In case an option module represents an I/O module with diagnostics no
notifications will be sent to the IO controller, even if the channel diagnosis is
enabled.
For option modules there are no flash sequences concerning an error indicated on
the IO-LED of the fieldbus coupler.

I/O Module Distribution to Several ARs
(Shared Device)
The fieldbus coupler can exchange productive data with up to two IO controllers
(IOCs) and one IO supervisor (IOS) simultaneously.
When establishing more than one AR, all existing I/O modules must
only
be
assigned to one of the IOCs involved. The exact procedure for how this unique
assignment is made depends on the used IOC configuration environment.
If an I/O module is inadvertently assigned to multiple IOCs when using
independent IOC configurations, only one IOC has access authorization. Access
depends on the start-up behavior of the IOCs uses and the entire system. That IOC
obtains access authorization, which establishes the first AR to the fieldbus coupler
in which the respective submodule was configured.
IOCs whose connection is then established and that also request access to the
submodule previously assigned get a message from the fieldbus coupler about the
presence of a "ModuleDiffBlock" in the "Connect Response". This indicates that
the submodule has already been subscribed to by another IOC ("Locked by IO
controller") and that access to the configured submodule is denied.
Reparameterization of the submodule with other settings if necessary is thus
avoided.
In the process data qualifiers of the connections that do not have the incorrectly
configured submodule, the subsequent cyclic productive data exchange indicates
that the process data is not valid (IOXS = BAD).
Once the AR that currently has access authorization to a submodule with multiple
assignments is released, another connected IOC is getting access per "Release
Alarm" if it also requested claim to the submodule in the connection phase. The
IOC then referred to as the subscriber can exchange valid process data with the
submodule after successful re-parameterization.
