Operating of the alarm system
Activating
After leaving the vehicle and closing the doors press the blue button of
the remote control for about 1 second in order to activate the alarm
system.
After having activated the alert system a receipt signal of the siren will
resound once as a confirmation. After a delay time of about 2 min. the
alert system is complety activated. The system requires these 2 min. in
order to measure the battery voltage. All other alert features (shock
sensor, ignition and bonnet contact switch) are activated immediately.
If there is no receipt signal, press the grey button straight before
pressing the blue one.
For cars with automatically acting switch on consumers (e.g.
independent vehicle heater, radiator fan) the voltage control needs to be
deactivated (see programming).
Remark! In the factory setting the acoustic receipt is switched
on OFF (see coding page 41).
In case the alert system is activated when a door or the bonnet is open
a warning signal resounds 3 times in order to indicate the operational
fault. Though the system is activated it excludes the concerned sensor
area from the surveillance until the source of interference has been
removed e.g. the door is duly closed.
Deactivating the alert system
Press the blue button of the remote control once for about 1 second.
The receipt signal resounds twice.
In case there is no receipt signal of the siren, please press the grey
button straight before the blue one.
Remark! In the factory setting the acoustic receipt is switched
on OFF (see coding page 41).
