Adjusting the thread tensions (4-thread seam)
Sometimes fine adjustment is required to
obtain a correct stitch pattern with the thread
used and the fabric to be sewn. Sew a test
seam and check the stitch pattern. Using
threads in different colours makes it easier to
adjust the thread tensions.
The normal tension is set if the mark is set to
“2-3-4”.
Turning the thread tension scale dial adjusts
the thread tension. Set the scale to a higher
number for greater thread tension. Set the
scale to a lower number for a lower thread
tension.
