Threading the lower looper
• Insert the thread into the thread guide (1)
and the thread guide (2).
• Pull the thread through the looper thread
lever (3).
• Pull the thread through the thread guide
of the lower looper (4).
• If the upper knife is in the upper position,
the thread can be guided through the
upper thread guide of the lower looper (5)
using tweezers.
• Turn the hand wheel until a part of the
lower looper on the left side of the needle
plate is released. Now the thread can be
threaded at position (6) of the lower
looper.
• Turn the hand wheel until the lower looper
slides to the right below the needle plate.
Make sure that no threads wind around
the lower looper.
• Insert the end of the thread into the eye of
the lower looper (7) using tweezers and
pull it through by approx. 10 cm.
Threading bulk thread
Pull a thread loop of normal thread through
the eye of the looper and put the bulk thread
through the loop. Then pull both through the
eye of the needle of the looper. The upper
looper can also be threaded in this way.
