Voltage
The EMX-4350 and EMX-4380 have BNC input connectors that are isolated from chassis ground.
The center conductor connects to HI and the outer shell connects to LO. The maximum voltage
applied to each input (differential plus common mode) cannot exceed ±20 V. A floating source
needs to have a DC path to ground through some resistance to make sure the common mode voltage
stays close to ground.
The EMX-4250/51 have 25pin microD connectors and voltage signals applied to each input
channels using EMX-4016/EMX-4016B/EMX-4016M Break out box. These Break out boxes pass
through the signals directly from the input BNC connector to the 25pin microD connected to the
EMX-4250/51 without any signal conditioning.
