Getting to Know Your Phone
When the phone is active
The display will inform you of any activity the phone is engaged in (see Fig. 1 on page
27
). This information is
presented in the form of text or symbols or both.
Info/status bar.
Name of current activity and time.
Context area
Depending on the activity, this area will contain symbols (incoming call ringing, outgoing call ringing, list entries,
etc.) and text like the phone number calling, the extension number being called, conference partners, etc. (see
Fig. 1 on page 27).
Function key line
Depending on the current activity of the phone, the key function key line will present various functions that can
be activated by pressing the function key underneath the respective symbol. See "Appendix 1 - Display Symbols
and Icons" on page 83 for a list of available functions.
